zriz notifications of run results
zriz sends no email for a run result now. It records a notice for a run that a deployed runner did. Each member sets a choice for these notices on the page Notifications of the web app.
Where you set it
The page is https://zriz.io/app/notifications. You must be signed in. zz has no command for notices.
The choice is your own, in the org that you are signed in to. It does not change the choice of a different member.
What you can set
The page has one row for each group of notices. The channel of each row is email.
| Row of the page | Default |
|---|---|
A pipeline changes between green and red |
on |
Each result of a pipeline that did not change |
off |
Each row has one button: Turn off or Turn on. After a click, the page shows Saved.
Which run gives which notice
Green is the status pass. Red is the status fail or error.
| The run is | The run before was | Row of the page |
|---|---|---|
| red | green, or there was none | A pipeline changes between green and red |
| green | red | A pipeline changes between green and red |
| red | red | Each result of a pipeline that did not change |
| green | green, or there was none | Each result of a pipeline that did not change |
The run before is the last run of the same project, pipeline, and environment. A run that gave no notice does not count.
Runs that give no notice
- A run with the status
skip.
Each run has a runner. A runner on this machine gives notices as a deployed runner does. Deploy a zriz runner with Docker gives the steps.
Who a notice is for
A notice of a run is for each member of the org, of each role. The address is the email address of the account of the member.
zriz records each of these notices as not sent. Thus your choice on the page has no effect on your mail now.
Messages that zriz always sends
The page lists two messages below Always sent. You cannot turn them off.
